A public site for an initiative on the global trade-finance gap.
TF COP, the Trade Finance Conference of Parties, is an initiative of ITFA. It brings public and private institutions together to close the $2.5 trillion trade finance gap, which is the shortfall between the trade finance that businesses ask for and what banks and other institutions actually provide. The shortfall falls hardest on viable businesses in developing markets, which are kept out of global trade by it. The initiative runs a task force, publishes the Washington Declaration, and takes members from both the public and private sectors.
